Kim's accomplishments stem back to 1984 when she made it to the National High school finals. The bug had set in and Kim would go on to win numerous association titles along with repeat titles. Kim Williamson became a World Champion Team Roper when she teamed up with her 2000 AQHA Break-away Horse of the Year – Ladies Doc Desperado. Not only did her great horse win Breakaway Horse of the year but also helped Kim win her title as a world champion heeler but the World titles didn't stop there. Kim has become the first woman to ever win dual World Titles in the Team Roping. Kim has won a World Title for Heading and Heeling.
