2004 — Finished as the world champion runner-up with $155,283 and was third in the Wrangler NFR average picking up $43,936; won the Pace Picante ProRodeo Challenge (Omaha, Neb.) setting a new arena record with a time of 3.2 seconds; won an event best $23,108; was a finalist at the Pace Classic (Dallas) finishing in a tie for third; and placed in three of 10 rounds at the Wrangler NFR.
2003 — Won National Stock Show & Rodeo in
Denver, Lawton (Okla.) Rangers Rodeo and NILE Rodeo (Billings, Mont.).
2002 — Qualified for Olympic Command Performance (Farmington, Utah); won Lewiston (Idaho) Roundup and New Mexico State Fair & Rodeo (Albuquerque); voted Coors Fans Favorite Cowboy; finished 14th in the world with $85,359 in earnings.
2001 — Won steer wrestling title at Copenhagen Cup Finale (
Las Vegas); won Southwestern Livestock & Exposition (Fort Worth, Texas).
1999 — Co-champion at Pendleton (Ore.) Round-Up.

6-4, 230 … Single … Hobbies include hunting, fishing … His father, Bill, passed away August of 2005 after his battle with cancer and although Jason wanted to return to Emporia earlier in the summer to be with his father, his father told him to stay on the road and chase his dream of winning a world title. His mother, is Sandra, and he has one brother, Jeffrey, and a sister Jodi.
