being kicked by a horse. Then lost two horses after hitting deer while

6-1, 185 … Engaged to WPRA barrel racer Brittany Pozzi … Hobbies include
raising and training quarter horses … Younger brother Tim competes in
tie-down roping … Following a tragic accident in 2003 when he lost two
horses, he spent most of 2004 restocking his stable. He now has two horses,
Ace and Oscar. He bought Ace from fellow tie-down roper Terry Kitchens.

Update
Doug Pharr has married professional barrel racer Brittany Pozzi December 6th
2006 upon their return home from the NFR in Las Vegas. They are happily
settling in Victoria Texas.
